Trans Siberian & Winning Nanowrimo – I hate circus-like Narrators

I always loved the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas songs, such as the most famous ones like “Wizards” and their amazing Carol of The Bells, and I’m a huge fan of the concept that electric violins and guitars with a 25-piece drum sets and synthesizers as well as many other amazing musical instruments can all be apart of one amazing orchestra-like musica group. So, I thought this was a pretty decent musical group and I thought Wednesday (the day before our beloved Tofurkey day, the day of the concert) was just going to be an enjoyable evening overall. Little did I know it was going to be a spiritual intervention. I am a new person.  There was an amazing tech crew (fireworks, smoke, ‘snow’, fire, amazing lights, people coming down from the ceilings, different stages and levels, laser-like lights, the list goes on and on and on and on and…)  as well as AMAZING performers with great talent and you could so tell they were all simultaneously spazzing out with adrenaline rushes. I was so close to the stage and our tickets were only $56 each – expensive, I thought at first, but now I see how packed it was, how ah-mazing it was, and now I see that we got a deal. It. Was. Awesome

There was one single negative bad thing about this show though – A terribly annoying male narrator with a awkward and extremely extremely (alien-like almost) low voice chimed in with narritives in between every song for the entire first half of the concert! Gr. Rawr. He ruined that first half for me (almost). He sounded as if he belonged in a circus…rawr

The night ended with a lovely stroll through Borders (my favorite chain bookstore ever, and loose far too much money to it) and a Javanilla Shake (my favorite, yummeh!)

Tofurkey day was lovely. Usual. Thanks. Giving. Etc. 😀

I WON NANOWRIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still, I have yet to finish my novel.

I’m getting there though 😀

National Novel Writing Month: Nanowrimo – Do it!

For all you people even remotely creative in any way, shape or form, I have found the perfect brain marathon for you. Write a novel by November 30th. That’s right folks, Nation Novel Writing Month is upon us, and as I have joined late, I’m only on 6,000 words when by tonight I should be at 13k!!! The terror.

So, my book may just be the worst novel ever written, but at least you can say you finished it! You won NaNoWrimo!!! Nanowrimo forces anyone at any age writing in literally any genre imaginable to write, as some people (such as myself) have trouble at finishing many things. I myself am also a huge procrastinator, otherwise I get nothing done, so this ‘race’ (call it what you will) shall be nerve wrecking and very interesting. For me. And you too if you just start already!

And for you non-creative folk… go eat some funions and watch Napolaen Dynomite… I have no idea what you people spend your time doing!

I suggest you all go to nanowrimo.org

They also have many other months, as in April I’m entering the Script writing frenzy!!!

Enjoy, goodluck to all!
