Trans Siberian & Winning Nanowrimo – I hate circus-like Narrators

I always loved the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas songs, such as the most famous ones like “Wizards” and their amazing Carol of The Bells, and I’m a huge fan of the concept that electric violins and guitars with a 25-piece drum sets and synthesizers as well as many other amazing musical instruments can all be apart of one amazing orchestra-like musica group. So, I thought this was a pretty decent musical group and I thought Wednesday (the day before our beloved Tofurkey day, the day of the concert) was just going to be an enjoyable evening overall. Little did I know it was going to be a spiritual intervention. I am a new person.  There was an amazing tech crew (fireworks, smoke, ‘snow’, fire, amazing lights, people coming down from the ceilings, different stages and levels, laser-like lights, the list goes on and on and on and on and…)  as well as AMAZING performers with great talent and you could so tell they were all simultaneously spazzing out with adrenaline rushes. I was so close to the stage and our tickets were only $56 each – expensive, I thought at first, but now I see how packed it was, how ah-mazing it was, and now I see that we got a deal. It. Was. Awesome

There was one single negative bad thing about this show though – A terribly annoying male narrator with a awkward and extremely extremely (alien-like almost) low voice chimed in with narritives in between every song for the entire first half of the concert! Gr. Rawr. He ruined that first half for me (almost). He sounded as if he belonged in a circus…rawr

The night ended with a lovely stroll through Borders (my favorite chain bookstore ever, and loose far too much money to it) and a Javanilla Shake (my favorite, yummeh!)

Tofurkey day was lovely. Usual. Thanks. Giving. Etc. 😀

I WON NANOWRIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still, I have yet to finish my novel.

I’m getting there though 😀
